Customer Data in Dodeca Cloud
Customers determine what Customer Data they submit to Dodeca Cloud and how that data is used. Applied OLAP processes Customer Data to provide, administer, secure, and support the Cloud Services in accordance with the applicable customer agreement and customer instructions.
Authorized Applied OLAP personnel and personnel of our hosting and administration subcontractor, iArch Solutions LLC, have standing administrative access to Dodeca Cloud environments where necessary to host, operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, support, and administer the services. This access may include access to Customer Data. For Dodeca Cloud Complete customers, this may include administration of the customer’s Essbase environment.
We do not use Customer Data for advertising or sell Customer Data to third parties.

Unless Applied OLAP expressly approves otherwise in writing, customers and users must not submit to Dodeca Cloud:
- Protected health information or other regulated medical information;

- Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, or similar identifiers;
- Biometric identifiers or biometric information;
- Consumer bank-account credentials or other consumer financial-account authentication information; or

This restriction does not prohibit ordinary business financial information such as budgets, forecasts, general-ledger information, operational reports, or similar business data that is not itself specially regulated personal information.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies
Our website and our service providers use cookies, tags, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the website, understand website usage, measure advertising performance, and improve our communications.
We use Google Analytics and related Google services, including Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion measurement. These services may collect information such as browser and device characteristics, approximate location, pages viewed, session activity, referral information, and cookie or device identifiers.
We may also use LinkedIn advertising and attribution technology to understand whether visits or actions are associated with our LinkedIn advertising and to measure advertising performance. LinkedIn may receive information such as the page visited, referring address, Internet Protocol address, device and browser characteristics, and the time of the visit, subject to LinkedIn’s own policies and user settings.
You can control or delete cookies using your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain website functions. Where additional cookie controls are made available on our website, you may also use those controls to manage your preferences.
Email Marketing
We use Constant Contact to store marketing contact information and distribute email communications. Information maintained in Constant Contact may include your name, business email address, company, communication preferences, and information about delivery, opening, and interaction with our emails.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link included in the message. We may retain limited information necessary to honor an unsubscribe request. Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not prevent us from sending service, support, security, billing, or other non-marketing communications concerning an existing business relationship.
How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information:
- To service providers and subcontractors that help us host, operate, administer, secure, support, analyze, market, and maintain our websites and services;
- To iArch Solutions LLC for the hosting and administration of Dodeca Cloud environments;
- To website-hosting, security, analytics, advertising, and email-marketing providers;
- When directed or authorized by the applicable customer;
- When required by law, subpoena, court order, warrant, or other valid legal process;
- To investigate or prevent suspected fraud, security incidents, unlawful conduct, or violations of our agreements;
- To protect the rights, safety, property, and security of Applied OLAP, our customers, users, and others; and
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not sell or rent personal information for money. Our use of third-party analytics and advertising technologies may, under some laws, be treated as “sharing” information for advertising purposes even when no money is exchanged. You may contact us using the information below to request information about available privacy choices.
Data Location and Authorized Access
Dodeca Cloud customer environments and backups are currently hosted in the United States. Personnel authorized by Applied OLAP and iArch Solutions LLC to administer Dodeca Cloud are also located in the United States.
We may change infrastructure or hosting providers as our services evolve, provided that we continue to apply appropriate contractual, administrative, and technical protections. Website analytics, advertising, communication, and other service providers may process information in locations determined by those providers.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing services, maintaining business and customer records, honoring communication preferences, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, maintaining security, and satisfying legal obligations.
Following termination of Dodeca Cloud services, a customer environment is retained for the period reasonably necessary to close out and decommission the service and is then deleted through our operational processes. Backup copies are overwritten through the ordinary automated backup cycle. Some information may be retained for a longer period when reasonably necessary for security, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, or contractual purposes.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Dodeca Cloud Customer Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
No method of transmission, storage, or security is completely effective, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Privacy Requests
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we maintain about you. Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have additional rights concerning the use or disclosure of your personal information.
We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. Certain information may be retained or excluded from a request where permitted or required by law, including information maintained on behalf of a Dodeca Cloud customer. If your request concerns information controlled by your employer or another Dodeca Cloud customer, you may need to direct the request to that organization.
To submit a privacy request, email privacy@appliedolap.com.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review and address the matter.
